Surrounded by Cookies

Who knew there were so many different types of cookies!?

From s'more cookies to coffee cake cookies, to cookie dough cookies, the possibilities are endless!!

Recently, I have been experimenting with “Crumbl copycat” cookie recipes. It has been so fun for me to be able to bake and share the thing I love with my friends at gymnastics. To say these cookies are extremely popular would be an understatement!

S’more Cookies: These s’more cookies have a “normal cookie base” of a chocolate chip cookie. But, crushed graham crackers were added in along with chocolate chips, as the first two ??? of the s’mores. I baked them until the edges looked firm, then took them out and put a marshmallow in the middle of all of them. Then, I broiled the marshmallows until golden brown, which also finished baking the cookies.

Coffee Cake Cookies:

These coffee cake cookies might be the best success to date!  They had a sugar cookie base, with a little bit of cinnamon, and then the star of the show was a sugar, cinnamon  and butter crumble. This crumble was on top of each cookie and finished with a drizzle of  a powdered sugar glaze.

Cookie Dough Cookies:

You know when you make chocolate chip cookies, but you accidentally eat most of the cookie dough before you even make the cookies? Been there, done that. These cookie dough cookies taste like the perfect cookie dough, without eating raw egg of course. They have a brown sugar cookie base, with a cookie dough frosting. They don't have too much chocolate, or too much sugar, and are simply perfect.
