Cuisine of Costa Rica!

About a week ago, I was able to go on a service trip to Costa Rica with my school. This trip was a work in progress for a long time, and as a co-founder and co-president of the club, Hands Across the Globe, at BFHS, I am thrilled to call this service trip a success! We spent a week in Costa Rica, working with a local San Jose high school to fix their campus, pick up trash in Tortuguero, and work and donate to a sea turtle conservation center in Tortuguero. Along the way, we ate some incredible food! I loved trying all the cuisine, most of which included lots of rice and beans, plantains, and some fish. It was an amazing experience, so here are some photos to give you an idea of some of the incredible food I ate!
